U.S. Direct Selling Association released the forecast for 2021, predicting growth of 4% to 7% to a range between $41.7 billion and $42.9 billion in retail sales. The forecast is based on the analysis of several inputs and is ultimately established by DSA’s Industry Research Committee during a process that is facilitated by Nathan Associates, an international economic consulting firm.
“This growth forecast for direct selling is consistent with DSA research year-to-date (including annual Growth & Outlook, quarterly DataTracker, and monthly QuickPulse surveys), public company reporting, member growth expectations, and broader retail and labor market macroeconomic indicators/forecasts,” said Joseph N. Mariano, president of the U.S. DSA.
“The industry remains constant in its efforts to provide improved customer centricity and has positioned itself well for more growth in the future with this dedicated focus,” he added.
