In November 2015, a federal court in the U.S. dismissed a lawsuit accusing Herbalife and its Chief Executive Officer of defrauding shareholders.

They were accused of misrepresenting the company’s business and grossly understating the percentage of sales made to retail customers.

The court decided that the claims failed to show that there was an intention of deceiving the shareholders and misrepresenting Herbalife’s business. The judge also dismissed the case with prejudice, meaning it could not be brought again.
