New Image™ International announced the launch of its operations in the Republic of Korea.
Headed by Patrick Park, Country Manager of New Image Korea, the company has launched a line of products catering specifically to the Korean market, including several colostrum-based health and nutritional supplements such as Alpha Lipid™ Lifeline™ and a wide range of natural skincare and beauty products, under the Nutrimetics brand.
“Korea is the third largest direct selling market in the world and we’re thrilled to be able to establish a presence in Seoul and introduce premium New Zealand-made health and beauty products to our Korean consumers,” says New Image CEO Rod Taylor. “Korea is one of the hardest markets for new nutraceutical businesses to enter due to its rigorous health regulations. We’re excited to be able to break into this highly competitive Korean market to support the health and wellbeing of more people around the world.”
Korea’s Country Manager Patrick Park says Korean consumers are becoming increasingly more health conscious and it’s a large market with a lot of potential growth, and adds, “Korea has a population of over 50 million people and there is an increased consumer appetite for premium health supplements and skincare products and a major driver of this demand is the country’s ageing population.
The official soft launch of New Image Korea was celebrated with an opening function at the new Seoul office with notable VIP guests including the South Korea Trade Commissioner Richard Dunsheath, NZTE Head of Business Development In Sik Oh, Korea Direct Selling Association representative Lee Chang Ro, Chairman of Korea Marketing Newspaper Mrs. Shin Hye Soo, and MAC&CO Director Song Joo Yeon and Manager Kim Ei Young.
