Jewelry direct seller Tocara announced that, in support of its new mission of “empowering beauty, inside and out,” it has added a line of premium-quality skin care products to its line of affordably priced fashion jewelry. Skin care sales in Canada were $2.5 billion in 2024, and are expected to achieve compounded growth of 4% over the coming years.
In keeping with Tocara’s philosophy of offering consumers affordable luxury, Puralta’s price points are all under $100. Puralta is gentle for all skin types, and uses only clean, organic ingredients, including botanicals and actives, to hydrate and renew skin. Puralta is sold exclusively by Tocara Style Advisors in Canada and the United States.
Randall Markus, Tocara Founder and CEO, said, “We want our Style Advisors to have access to the best and broadest earning opportunity we can give them. Jewelry is our heritage and our history; we see Puralta skin care as our future, and a way to transform the lives of our Style Advisors.”
Working in collaboration with a Montreal-based developer of skin care formulas, Tocara designed a regimen of seven products which the company characterizes as “Clean beauty, powered by nature.”
In further support of its mission of empowerment, Tocara also announced a substantial improvement to its compensation plan. Said Markus, “Now, more than ever, we want to be a company that people can include in their life plans. So much has changed in direct selling over the past ten years, but we’ve held true to our original convictions. We’re still a party plan company, but our new compensation plan is the most generous we’ve ever offered and our new Puralta skin care line puts us in a league of our own.”
