Jewelry direct seller Tocara announced that it has been recognized for the introduction of a unique and innovative social selling video product, branded ‘PopStreams’.
Canada Direct Sellers Association Industry Innovation Award recognizes companies that have developed an innovative approach to direct selling in Canada.
A PopStream is a short, shoppable video created by direct sellers or their corporate marketing teams. Products are selected by the PopStream creator from a menu. Customers can browse, fill their carts, and checkout within the PopStream video, creating a smoother, faster purchase experience than the typical link-out to the direct seller’s website.
Randall Markus, Tocara Founder & CEO, said, “Consumer shopping habits changed in recent years, a phenomenon which accelerated during and after the pandemic,” and added “PopStreams are a unique social commerce innovation that will forever change the way direct sellers grow their businesses and increase their commissions through sales.”
Tocara has been piloting PopStreams with its leadership group for several months and will be rolling out PopStreams to its full field of Style Advisors in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom in August.
