Brazil DSA’s (ABEVD) Direct Sales Hackathon, held at InovaMack (a university start-up incubator), stood out as a significant event, bringing together over 180 participants in search of innovative solutions for the direct sales sector in Brazil.
Organized by ABEVD, on October 24 and 25, the event emphasized the importance of technology and innovation in modernizing our business. The projects presented went through the evaluation committee, formed by a group of executives and the winners not only received cash prizes but also the opportunity to incubate their projects.
There was 27 final projects and the high level of participation and engagement of attendees reflected a strong interest among the new generations in direct selling. The hackathon highlighted that technology is an absolutely crucial element for evolution and competitiveness in direct sales, meeting the demands of the modern consumer and society. This pursuit of innovative solutions indicates a growing interest and urge in transformation, innovation and modernization, that will drive the sector forward.
The event received sponsorship and support from renowned brands like Natura, Amway, Demillus, Hinode Group and Herbalife which reinforced the hackathon’s relevance as a platform for developing ideas that can positively impact the market.
This initiative not only strengthened the connection between the university, ABEVD, and the industry, but also highlighted the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship in today’s landscape.
