The World Plant-Based Innovation Awards has announced 4Life’s “Plant-based Transfer Factor Research” as the winner in the 2024 Protein Innovation category.
4Life’s research is based on the scientific understanding that, like mammals, plants have immune systems. Mammals pass immune knowledge to their babies through colostrum, which contains small but powerful immune proteins . Likewise, plants pass immune information to seeds using analogous immune proteins, whose structures seem to be conserved across mammals, birds, and plants.
4Life’s flagship ingredient is an ultra-filtered, colostrum-based protein called 4Life Transfer Factor®. By leveraging a rich history of natural immune research, 4Life scientists and researchers undertook a campaign to screen hundreds of plants and seeds from around the world in search of the most potent immune-benefiting proteins. This research involved developing a high-throughput screening assay to study how different proteins can target health threats.
4Life boasts more than a quarter-century legacy of immune-based nutraceuticals. The company makes significant ongoing investments in scientific research and development, publication, quality manufacturing, patents, and overall customer satisfaction.
